1. Overview
These terms of service govern your use of the SuperChipmunk desktop application and the website at superchipmunk.app. By using SuperChipmunk, you agree to these terms.
2. Description of Service
SuperChipmunk is a desktop application that detects nail-biting behavior using your webcam and on-device AI. All detection processing happens locally on your device — no webcam data is transmitted to external servers.
3. License
Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-transferable license to use SuperChipmunk on one device. Updates are included for one year from the date of purchase. The license is bound to a single device upon first activation.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer the license
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Use the application for any unlawful purpose
4. Pricing and Payment
SuperChipmunk is available as a one-time purchase. Prices are subject to change but will not affect existing license holders. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with SuperChipmunk for any reason within 30 days of purchase, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked.
6. Privacy and Data
Webcam data is processed locally and never transmitted or stored. Anonymized detection analytics are shared only if you explicitly opt in via the “Share Data” setting. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Scoreboard
The scoreboard is an optional feature displaying anonymized stats (level, XP, streaks) for users who opt in to data sharing. No personal data is associated with scoreboard entries. We reserve the right to moderate scoreboard content.
8. Availability and Platforms
SuperChipmunk is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. A working webcam is required. We do not guarantee compatibility with all hardware configurations.
9. Limitation of Liability
SuperChipmunk is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the application, including health outcomes. SuperChipmunk is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SuperChipmunk constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
